Fabric Sourcing

We can get a wide variety of fabrics for your garments, either from suppliers, or custom knit to your specifications. This includes knit stripes, pointelle, jacquards, wovens, performance fabrics, and more.

Some of our fabrics

We are connected to a wide variety of suppliers not only local to our manufacturers, but also abroad. We contract knit fabrics such as jersey and French terry locally to ensure quality control and quick turnaround times. We also import specialty and technical fabrics from China, Taiwan, and other sources to ensure the best fabrics are used for your garments.

If you’d prefer to have more control over the feel and construction of your garments, we can help source specific yarns. For example, 2-ply yarns are better for fleece, which is brushed French terry, while 3-ply yarns are better for French terry.

Need garment wash effects? We can produce your garments in RTD (ready to dye) fabric and have them acid washed, dip dyed, or whatever else you need.

Single Jersey

A lightweight, soft, smooth fabric typically used for t-shirts, as well as casual dresses, underwear, and base layers. Typically made of cotton or a cotton/poly blend, with lycra if needed for extra stretch, but can also be made with full polyester or other natural fibers such as bamboo.

Rib Knit

This fabric isn’t just used for collars and cuffs, but also fitted tops. The rib knit ensures it is stretchy due to its vertical rib structure, and it is thicker than jersey. Like jersey, it can be made from a variety of fibers, with added stretch if desired.

Interlock

Interlock’s double-knit construction makes it thicker and smoother than jersey. It is usually made of a cotton/poly blend, or full polyester (the middle layer which joins the two sides must be polyester). It is favored for kids and babies’ wear because of its softness on both sides, but it is also a great choice for tees, loungewear, or anywhere jersey knit might be used.

Fleece

The quintessential hoodie and jogger fabric, which has two sides: the smooth face outside, and the brushed, soft back. It can be lighter weight or heavier weight depending on the feel you’re going for.

Piqué

The quintessential polo shirt fabric. The textured surface makes it breathable, and it is typically a little heavier than jersey. It can also be used for activewear and is popular for golf apparel.

Scuba

This is a double-knit fabric that feels smooth and slightly spongy to the touch—much like a wetsuit used for scuba diving. People have found applications far beyond this, using it even for dresses and skirts, as well as athleisure.

Polyester Mesh

For sublimation printed jerseys, we offer polyester mesh in a variety of weights and constructions, so you can get the exact material to for your team.

French Terry

The looped, towel-like back of French terry is a premium option for hoodies and sweats. Choose heavyweight to keep customers warm, or lightweight for light cover on breezy days.

Sherpa Fleece

This fluffy fabric is typically made of polyester and commonly used in winter wear and lounge wear to add coziness and tactile appeal.
